Thankfully had a 45 minute wait at the Bellaire microbrew standby and walked up the street. Looked at the menu and encouraged by the couple eating on the patio "Get in there, you wont be disappointed" we went in. We were there early in the evening and got a table without a reservation.
I'm an overly smug California foodie and I was blown away by the service, the food and probably the single greatest gin and tonic cocktail I've ever had. Ok, not much of a drinker but it was amazing. Quality ingredients presentation and taste. Whitefish in a jar with crostini, smoked trout apps. Wow. Staff that deeply understands food allergies and asks the right questions so you can rest assured there's wont be any surprises.
We live in the area now and would very much appreciate you also dining here. We would gladly trade needing reservations and difficulty getting a table in exchange for many years to come of fabulous food. -

Had an amazing meal here. The food came out quicker than our expectation and it was amazing in flavor and presentation. I used to enjoy going into the previous restaurant at this location, but I know this new one is going to be a hit.
The atmosphere is quite open with nice bar area serving great cocktails and craft beers.
The menu has many items on it that are sure to suit your desires.
I'll definitely go back! -

Great food paired with an elevated cocktail program, exception beer and wines. Favorite dishes include cream of wild ramp soup, smoked salmon chips, NY strip steak, and the chocolate cake.
Cocktail recommendation: Fuzzy Mammoth will not disappoint.
Cocktail recommendation for the Adventurous - Hot House . Strawberry and habenero are just a couple flavors you'll get in this.
Easy drinking beer on tap - All Terrain Ale while it lasts!
Classic beers - Ayinger Brau Weisse and Saison Dupont both straight from the bottle. -

What a great place! Bellaire now has a dining destination to match Traverse City or Petoskey. The ragu to the Handkerchief Pasta was so rich. My wife's Pesto was a unique take which we both loved. Thank you Allison, our server, who was familiar with the chef's techniques.
Wish we lived up here so we could come back more often! -

Delicious meal with fun flavors. A fuzzy mammoth gin cocktail that started things off. Great blend of locally made spirits. The roasted beet salad had amazingly creamy goat cheese but the jicama was a little thickly sliced. The Whitefish terrine was tasty with a honey mustard dressing. My mother in law loved it. I had the homemade handkerchief pasta with lamb ragu that was wonderful. My daughter had the strip steak that was done perfectly with a mild onion glaze. But the star of the meal was the flash fried Brussels sprouts. Perfectly seasoned. This meal was a winner and didn't break the bank.
